Installing a bipod on a firearm is a straightforward process that can significantly enhance your shooting stability and accuracy, especially when shooting from prone or supported positions. Before using your firearm with the new Savage bipod, ensure it is correctly installed and functions as expected to guarantee a safe and effective shooting experience. The new Savage bipod is offered in two configurations – sling stud installation and M-LOK installation. This guide will show you how to install a Savage bipod using both attachment methods.

WARNING: Always ensure that the firearm is unloaded before installing, removing, or adjusting a bipod. Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. Ensure that your workspace is void of ammunition at all times. The magazine should be removed from the firearm and the bolt should be open. The safety should be set to the Full Safe position.
